From The Pastor – March 2020

Dear Church Family

What is the most important time of the day?

The Bible teaches it is the morning, Psalm 143:8:

Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Meet with God in the morning. Many of the great men in the Bible were in the good habit of being in the presence of God to start their day. Even Jesus began His day in prayer and communion with the heavenly Father.

Brother Aaron has our Daily Bible reading plan in the bulletin every week. Ask God for guidance and instruction as you read. I love what Psalm 119:18 says:

Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Don’t just read it but let it speak to you, get the most from your Bible reading.

Remember to take time to praise God and thank Him for your many blessings.

We are called to be disciples of Christ. A disciple must have discipline in his or her life. The most important kind is spiritual discipline, and that is to walk with God every day.

I love you ALL!
