From The Pastor – March 2019

Dear Church family;

February has come and gone and left us with a lot of rain. I am a lot like you, I’m ready for some sunshine. But I’m also thankful that God knows what we need. The Bible says in Jeremiah 5:24

Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in His season.

Aren’t you glad we serve a God who controls the different seasons, summer, fall, winter and spring? He is a mighty God who is omniscient and controls it all. Reminds me of the song I learned as a child, “He’s got the whole world in His hands!” I’m glad He is God and He is in control, aren’t you?

Job said in chapter 19, verse 25:

For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.

We serve a living God who wants us to be in fellowship with Him. That is personal church. I pray that as we move into March, that we too can do some soul searching and be able to say like Job, I KNOW that MY REDEEMER (SAVIOR) lives. Does He live in your heart? Is He Lord of your Life? Is your walk with Him personal like it was with Job? That is His will for us all.

I want you to know that I love you all and pray for you daily. If I can ever be of an assistance to you, please give me a call. It is an honor to pastor such a loving, caring, sweet church.

God Bless and Happy March!

Pastor Buckshot, Phil. 4:13
