From The Pastor – October 2018

Dear Church Family,

The month of October will be very busy here at Northside Baptist Church.  Homecoming is on the 7th and we are looking forward to Rev. Keith Kelly being here and preaching the morning message.  Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall and everyone is to bring a well filled basket (including homemade apple pies!).  There will be no evening service that night.

Then we will have what I call “Super Sunday Nights.”  Please plan now to be back on Sunday nights as we will have a different preacher each night.  Rev. Benny Durham will fill the pulpit on the 14th.  Rev. Benny has pastored in our area and is now a Chaplin with the Greenville Sheriff Office.  The 21st, one of my best friends Evangelist Mark Spearman will be filling the pulpit.  Rev. Mark is from Greenville, SC.  For the October 28th evening service, Shepherd’s Voice from Tabernacle will be singing.  You will not want to miss any of these services.  Please be in prayer for each of these Sundays in October.

That’s not all!  On the 24th we will have our annual Fall Fun Festival here at the church.  Also, on the 27th, Main Street Pickens will have their Trick-or-Treat and we want Northside to be represented.  Danny and Amanda Miller are heading this up.  We need LOTS of CANDY, so please bring candy and leave it in the box at the front of the church.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be your pastor and your friend.  Sharon and I love you all so much!

Pastor Buckshot,  Phil. 4:13
