Dear Church Family,

I can’t believe its September already, time sure does fly by doesn’t it?  Well, school is back in full swing, vacations are mostly over, a new church year is here, and I am looking forward to what the Lord does through us as we serve Him at Northside.

Please be in prayer about all the different ministries that will be taking place in the next couple of months.  September 9th, The Shelton’s will be here, you don’t want to miss that night as we worship our Lord and Savior.  Also, please be in prayer for the children and volunteers at our Good News Club as we share the Gospel with the children at Hagood Elementary.  And, don’t want to forget this (LOL):

Happy Birthday to my sweet wife Sharon on the 13th.  I love you!

The month of October will be filled with “Super Sundays.”  We will have Homecoming on the 7th.  Rev. Keith Kelly will be back to preach the morning message.  Brother Keith served as pastor of Northside from February 1st, 1983 – July 4th, 1984.  Dinner will follow in the fellowship hall (Someone said we would have banana pudding…yummy!).  Can’t wait!  Then each Sunday night in the month we will have a different preacher to preach in the evening service.  I call it “Super Sunday Nights” because we serve a Super Awesome God!  Amen!  Don’t forget October 24th, as we will have our annual Fall Fun Festival.  I covet your prayers as we seek to do what God has called us to do.
