As I travel back to SC from Chicago, I fully intended on sleeping the entire duration home. But as I look out my window @7:20am, I can’t help but marvel at God’s beautiful creation and also snap a few pictures. The sunrise got me thinking about tomorrow’s sunrise service though…
Even though we won’t be worshipping at 35,000 feet enjoying the view I’m seeing right now, we will be together as a unified church body praising our risen Savior! BUT, one day, we will be able to worship Jesus high above the Earth (without a noisy plane) when he calls His church to meet him in the air. That is all thanks to our Lord’s amazing, perfect sacrifice yesterday on Good Friday and the equally perfect Resurrection from the tomb 3 days later! Praise be to God! Do you know Jesus personally so on that day you can join us? I pray you do 🙂
I hope to see you all at our service tomorrow morning at 7:20am. Be sure to stick around too for the Easter Cantata “Hallelujah: Praise the Lamb” performed by our dedicated choir members. Preacher Mark will also be delivering a special Resurrection Day message. Make sure to invite a friend or 10 to attend! See you there!
